As a rising director Destri had the rare opportunity to observe Hollywood’s top filmmakers while honing her own skills behind the camera. From Phil Joanou and Mika Kaurismaki to Mike Nichols and Michael Bay, Destri saw an array of directing styles and aesthetics while working on commercial, music video and film production teams in a variety of roles, from p.a. to production manager.  She began her career in Hollywood working for the prolific John Wells Productions (ER, West Wing, Southland).
